Using a new design inspired by the Cartier Manchester Tiara, the iconic piece, once owned by the Duchess of Manchester, features delicate scrolls and floral motifs brought to life through metal threads and embellishment.
Working with a specially created embroidery kit exclusive to the V&A, you’ll be guided through techniques including chipping, pearl purl and bullion application to create your own take-home artwork.
Perfect for enthusiasts of embroidery and jewellery design, this workshop offers a unique opportunity to explore heritage craftsmanship in the inspiring setting of the V&A.
This workshop is suitable for beginners and those looking to refresh their skills. All materials will be provided, suitable for ages 18 and over.
