You'll find a range of access provisions available here at the museum. See below for further information on things to make your visit as enjoyable as possible.

Wheelchairs for hire
A limited number of wheelchairs are available for you to loan free of charge by emailing in advance. On arrival, you can collect wheelchairs at the Information Desk. Small mobility scooters are welcome inside the museum.

Lifts
Lifts are available to all floors and there is wheelchair access to all spaces.

Alternative access
For groups and individuals with limited mobility, alternative access can be arranged via the staff entrance of V&A Dundee (directly opposite the parking on South Crichton Street). Please ask a member of our security team there who will arrange a member of staff to escort you into the museum.

Seating
There is a range of seating provided around the museum and the grounds. We also have portable stools available for you to borrow in the gallery spaces.

Toilets
Accessible toilets are available on all floors and there is a Changing Places toilet on Level 1.

Quiet room
A quiet room is available if you need time away from the hustle and bustle of the museum.

Additional accessibility aids
Prior to visiting, you can access a virtual tour of the museum to familiarise yourself with V&A Dundee and the facilities available. To access the tour, click here. This tour has been developed for V&A Dundee by Virtual Inclusion.
Visitors with full or partial sight loss can download the MyEyes app to help navigate the museum. To download the app, click here. We recommend using headphones for the best experience. The museum can provide spare headphones if required.
