Get creative with collage and be inspired by the Design and Disability exhibition. Using colour, textures and images, you’ll work together to make your very own zine (a small, handmade booklet full of your ideas, drawings and messages) exploring what joyful, welcoming spaces for play, rest and togetherness could look like.
Use images from the illustrator Rose Sergent (Drawn Poorly), the V&A collection, the Design and Disability exhibition as well as an array of colourful materials, sticky letters and a mix of textures to create your zine.
This is a free, drop-in event for families to enjoy all together; no child can be left unattended. Suitable for ages 5+. This event is for disabled and non-disabled families.
For further information on the event and artist information please download the brochure on from the right-hand side of this page.
This event will take place in John Madejski Courtyard Garden (ground floor of the museum). In case of wet weather, it will take place indoors in the Art Studio, Level 0 of the V&A Learning Centre.
